Brunch with Anton Nel

Piano superstar Anton Nel will inaugurate our newly acquired 1929 Steinway Model B seven-foot grand piano with a special one-hour recital in support of the Rosette Community Fund. Join us for a casual brunch with coffee, mimosas, and delicious brunch bites in The Rosette, followed by a glorious concert down the hall in the Baker Cafetorium.

Thanks to an anonymous donor, all gifts made in support of this event will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $25,000.

Our piano, generously donated to ACG by Dr. Michael Froehls, has the rich, warm tone and remarkable dynamic control prized in Golden Era Steinways from the 1920s, handmade by craftspeople using materials discontinued in later years.

Proceeds benefit the Rosette Community Fund, which each year provides over $50,000 in rental and technical support to Austin artists and nonprofits producing more than one hundred shows in our theater, serving our community through theater, comedy, music, film, and folk art.
