ATX Music Series: Guy Forsyth Trio
Thursday, February 19 at 8pm
We are ecstatic to present the Guy Forsyth Trio at The Rosette as part of our ATX Music Series. Founder of iconic Austin sonic experiences like Asylum Street Spankers and (now) The Hot Nut Riveters, Forsyth has played around the world, made over 20 records, won many awards, and helped define Austin music. He's a one-of-a-kind Austin original. He not only writes and sings his own songs, but he enjoys telling the stories behind their inspiration. He is a modern American Songster. Not one song is the same, but they share the same care and craftsmanship. No matter the tune, no matter the rhythm, Forsyth’s music will bring a smile and make the body move.
ATX Music Series offers a premium listening room experience with ample free parking, a convenient central location in the Hyde Park neighborhood, a gorgeous intimate space, and outstanding acoustics. These events are BYOB. Water, ice, cups, and a corkscrew are provided. Please note: The Rosette is situated in a historic building, and seating in the balcony requires walking up a flight of stairs. If you have mobility concerns, please call 512-300-2247. We can’t wait to celebrate and enjoy Austin’s rich creative community with you at The Rosette where we value real people, doing real things, in real time.
Guy Forsyth Trio is generously sponsored by Harry John Trube.
This concert is also supported in part by Texas Commission on the Arts.
