Our Live at The Rosette series begins with the Austin debut of Duo Chinoiserie, featuring Xia Jing on guzheng (a traditional Chinese zither) and classical guitarist Hu Bin.

For over a decade, Duo Chinoiserie has explored the rich cultural intersections of folk and classical music from around the world. Inspired by our season theme, they shared, “When we think about Spark, we think of the spark of inspiration from every musical culture and the sparks that they create when they meet. In our case, our instruments stand for the oriental and occidental and our music showcases the contemporary interpretations of multiculturalism.”
